Local Radio Personality Receives "Yes" Utah Award
Local radio personality and owner of the Wiseguys Comedy Cafe, Keith Stubbs, is the most recent recipient of the "Yes" Utah award.
This award honors individuals who show outstanding effort in promoting donation or demonstrate great compassion in supporting families through the donation process. The award was presented to Keith during his morning radio show on the Eagle 101.5 by Alex McDonald of Intermountain Donor Services and Chris Hanna of the Utah Lions Eye Bank.Click here to continue ...

Kelly Perkins, "The Climb of Her Life"
Kelly Perkins,author, mountain climber, and heart transplant recipient, has gained international recognition for her remarkable courage and landmark accomplishments.
Kelly was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy in 1992. Just over 3 years later, in 1995, Kelly received a heart transplant. Renewed with life, Kelly went on to shock the medical world by becoming the first ever heart transplant recipient to reach the peak of some of the world's most famous mountains.
She will be sharing her experiences in Salt Lake City on March 31, 2009.
Join Kelly at 3:30 p.m. as she climbs the wall at REI, 3285 E. 3300 S., SLC, with other transplant recipients.
Later, at 7:00 that evening, Kelly will share her climbing experiences as she offers lessons in courage, overcoming obstacles and maintaining dreams at Bryant Middle School, 40 S. 800 E., SLC.
