IDS serves Utah, southeastern Idaho, and western Wyoming, encompassing 2.7 million residents, 79 hospitals, and three transplant centers.

RUNNING FOR SOMETHING

One year to the day after being admitted to Intermountain Medical Center for a potential liver transplant, I competed in and finished the Salt Lake City Marathon. The call from my transplant coordinator came in the early hours of April 28, 2009 and after 9 1/2 hours of surgery, I received a second chance at life. (more)
