Eric Daniel Longhurst was born May 14, 2004. He is the youngest of 6 children. He is also the 15th grandchild on one side of the family, and the 32nd grandchild on the other side of the family. Eric loved to live life to the fullest. He enjoyed football, ballroom dance, participating in Boy Scouts of America, singing in the Northridge Elementary Chorus, reading, outdoor winter activities, spending time at Grandparents, being with family, friends and extended family, living at BYU Aspen Grove Family Camp in the summer and eating food! He was a good friend and reached out in kindness to others. To hear his enthusiastic laugh, would bring a smile to your face. He knew how to comfort others. He would put his arm around you and just stand there silently when he felt you were sad. According to his "All About Me" page in 6th grade, his ambition in life was to be a good son--which he surely was and is. He had great confidence, as shown in his response after doing something embarrassing or unusual, "That's me!" he'd say. He had a strong testimony of the Savior, Jesus Christ. He loved the song, "Gethsemane". We are grateful that the fabulous kindness and love he showed in this life, continues on in the lives of so many, through this program of organ donation. "Love ya, Eric!!"
