Wendy was born in 1946 and died of lymphoma at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden on February 13, 2016. It is not surprising that Wendy would become an Organ Donor because so much of her life was centered upon her concern for others. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend. Wendy was a caring, competent, and compassionate R.N. at McKay for over 30 years; ‘Mom’ to countless Weber State University students and faculty who were newcomers to Ogden; the conversation around her was always lively – but she was also a compassionate friend who could respect a confidential conversation. It is only fitting that she chose to give of herself one more time as an organ donor and her family rejoices in the gift that she has given others.
