Diane Bartholomew Taylor was born on May 7, 1946 and returned to her heavenly home on February 6, 2017 at the age of 70 after patiently battling heart and kidney disease for several years. Diane had a difficult life full of challenges and struggle, but maintained a genuineness and kindness about her; and always strived to help everyone. Her smile was contagious. The following quote describes her well. "The most beautiful people we have known are those who have known defeat, known suffering, known struggle, known loss, and have found their way out of the depths. These persons have an appreciation, a sensitivity, and an understanding of life that fills them with compassion, gentleness, and a deep loving concern. Beautiful people do not just happen."(~Elizabeth Kubler-Ross) Diane was a giving until the end, donating her body to the University of Utah for the advancement of medical education and science. She is missed terribly, but her family is grateful for her example and final sacrifice which will benefit others.
